 On June 18, 2021 the City of Cleveland Water System had a 6” water line break that affected the following locations:

Ash St, Old Nacoochee Rd, portion of Church St, Yonah Springs Charles Dr., Three-M Court, Woodman Hall Rd, Parkview Dr., Spring St., Brady St, Pine St, Russell St., Dixon Dr., Faulkner St, Clara Bell Dr., Oakwood Ct., Cagle St., Carroll St., and E Jarrard St. .

 To make proper repairs, the City Public Works Department had to shut off the water supply to the line.  This affected City of Cleveland water customers located in Ash St, Old Nacoochee Rd, portion of Church St, Yonah Springs Charles Dr., Three-M Court, Woodman Hall Rd, Parkview Dr., Spring St., Brady St, Pine St, Russell St., Dixon Dr., Faulkner St, Clara Bell Dr., Oakwood Ct., Cagle St., Carroll St., and E Jarrard St. area of the city’s water service area

Due to this main break and repair, the City issued a boil water notice to the local media via White County News and WRWH 1350 Radio for the affected customers.  The notice is required by the EPD.  This notice is to insure the safety of the drinking water to the city’s customers in the event of the possibility of a contaminant entering the system.

***The EPD has confirmed with the City that all test are clear and the Boil Water    Notice has been lifted.*********
