GENERATORS AND
AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCHES

The City of Cleveland is hereby accepting sealed bids for two (2) GENERATORS and (2) AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCHES. The first location number will be the City of Cleveland Police Department, 342 Campbell Street, Cleveland GA 30528. The second location will be 322 Clint Street Well. Cleveland GA 30528. Both locations currently have no existing generators.

The following units will be installed as listed below.

LOCATION #1 Cleveland Police Department 342 Campbell Street, Cleveland GA 30528

New Generator needs to be Diesel 48kw 1 phase 120/240v

Automatic Transfer Switch: 400 amp 120/240v

LOCATION #2 322 Clint Street Well Cleveland, GA 30528

New Generator needs to be Diesel 1ph 277/480 48kv

Automatic Transfer Switch: 200 amp 277/480v

Bids must be received by Friday, March 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Absolutely no bids will be accepted after the aforementioned time and date. Bids should be clearly marked GENERATORS. No faxed bids will be accepted. A bid packet may be mailed to the City of Cleveland, 85 S. Main Street, Cleveland GA 31029 or hand delivered to City Clerk Lisa Ritchie located at City of Cleveland, 85 S Main Street, Cleveland GA 30528. Bids will be opened on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

The Contractor shall also furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools and services as required to satisfactorily complete all the mechanical GENERATOR work that is necessary according to specifications in the bid announcement.

The successful bidder will be required to provide the City of Cleveland with a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability and Worker’s Compensation.

The Mayor and City Council of the City of Cleveland invites members of the general public to submit sealed bid proposals for consideration to purchase certain real property in accordance with O.C.G.A. 36-37-6 (a).

Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Cleveland in the office of the City Clerk, 85 South Main Street, Cleveland, GA 30528 or mailed to City of Cleveland, Attn: City Clerk, 85 South Main Street, Cleveland , GA 30528 until, but no later than, 4:30 p.m. on January 26, 2024 for the following property:

Bids must be submitted in the manner prescribed in the "Instruction to Bidders" included with this packet, accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or money order made payable to the City of Cleveland, in the amount of 3% of the bid as a deposit.  The successful bidder's deposit  will  be applied toward the purchase price. All others will be returned.  Closing shall occur within sixty (60) days after approval of the sale.

NOTE: Face of sealed envelope must bear the words "Sealed Bid – 19 Campbell Street, January 26, 2024” or your bid will not be considered.
