RFQ 2019-05 Professional Wastewater Engineering Services

The City of Cleveland recently renewed it’s NPDES permit for the Cleveland Water Pollution Control Plant (wastewater treatment facility) with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division. The renewed permit places increase standards for effluent limitations and monitoring requirements, and a timeline to meet the new standards. Sealed proposals will be received from qualified professional engineering firms by the City of Cleveland, Cleveland, Georgia to provide professional wastewater engineering services for meeting the increased standards and meeting the timeline established within the recently reissued NPDES permit. Proposals will be received in the office of the City of Cleveland, City Clerk’s Office, 85 South Main Street, Cleveland, Georgia 30528, until 2:00 p.m. Noon “Local Time”, Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Any proposal received after said time and date will not be considered by the City of Cleveland, Georgia. Proposals will be opened in the City Clerk’s office at the above address at 3:00 p.m. “Local Time” on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. All proposals will be evaluated and the project will be awarded by the Cleveland City Council.

Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the City of Cleveland. Each sealed envelope containing a proposal must be plainly marked on the outside as “RFQ 2019-05 Professional Wastewater Engineering Services”. If the proposal is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope to the attention of the Owner at the address previously given and also marked on the outside “RFQ 2019-05 Professional Wastewater Engineering Services”.
