Mission Statement
The White County Chamber of Commerce's mission is to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life in White County.
Businesses can now apply for Beer & Wine Licenses in the City of Cleveland. Please read more to download the pdf documents which explain the process, requirements and answer many of the questions regarding license applications.
A Occupational Tax License is required for any business in the City of Cleveland, no matter how large or small, whether operated from your home or a commercial location. Licenses must be renewed January 1 each year.
The City of ClevelandOccupational License staff is happy to assist you in taking this important step in the life of your business.

General Information
Cleveland GA: Established in 1857 and incorporated as a town August 18, 1870, Cleveland is the county seat of White County. The old White County courthouse and Museum houses the White County Historical Society. The courthouse, built between 1859 and 1860, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
